OBJECTIVE

I am currently a postdoc in Roderic Guigo's genome bioinformatics lab at IMIM in Barcelona, where I study splice signals and intron evolution. I also apply what I learn to gene prediction algorithms, particularly with respect to the ENCODE project. Upon completion of my stay in Barcelona, I will be seeking a position in the Bay Area (or Europe or Japan) where I can pursue independent research in the area of comparative genomics.
